Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

We often get questions regarding our services; most fall into these five basic categories. Here are a few representative ones, with links to the parts of our website which explain in greater detail:

+ How much will this cost?

No two people are the same so the cost can vary widely. The initial 90-minute evaluation is $360, due at the time of appointment. After that, lab tests and the length and frequency of therapy visits will determine your total outlay. Please see "Rates & Insurance."

+ Will you create a payment plan for me?

We take cash, checks, and all major credits cards, and even though we cannot offer “in-house” financing, we have made arrangements for a dedicated credit card with an interest-free option available to those with good credit through Advance Care Card.

+ How long will it take before I am feeling better?

Again, each person is different. Part of your rate of recovery depends on how much work you are willing to put into the changes that need to happen in your life. Some people need serious life style changes which may take time to implement! Supplements can change things around in as quickly as a week or two, or may take six to twelve months to reach maximum benefit. You will have a better idea of this after your initial consultation.

+ What about pharmaceutical drugs?

Although we do not do “med checks” as a general rule in this practice, if you are on pharmaceuticals, we will continue them until you are feeling better and then slowly withdraw them at the pace with which you feel comfortable. Dr. Laue has often found that people who are not yet on pharmaceuticals often respond well to other interventions — and then do not have to experience the sometimes difficult withdrawal associated with many drugs.

+ What will Dr. Laue and her associates do to help me feel better?

Read through “Services & Specialties” section to get an idea of the broad range of services we offer. We prefer to explore the levels of healing starting with the biological levels, then incorporate the emotional, mental and spiritual levels to help you manifest your optimal level of wellness.

An example: Patient “A” might have an unrecognized (undiagnosed) gluten sensitivity, which in turn causes inflammation, which then results in migraine headaches, poor sleep and anxiety — all from an associated cortisol disruption. Cortisol is your “fight-or-flight” hormone, which optimally ramps up in the morning to get you going for the day. So in this case, you can see the need to explore several levels of healing — starting with the physical body — to get to the underlying cause.

We hope you will read through this website carefully to get a good idea of how Dr. Laue works with clients, and to help you decide if this practice is a “good fit” for achieving your health goals — physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual.
